Volunteers Needed
Windsor Emergency Services, Inc is a volunteer ambulance agency that uses paid providers to fill the gaps in coverage left by busy volunteers. The agency is always looking for more volunteers members; they are the back bone of our organization. The agency will provide CPR training and EMT course are free through Broome County with agency affiliated students. Volunteer members can hold positions as:
- Drivers: drives the ambualnce and assist in patinet packaging and care if rquested to. Trained in CPR
- Patient Care Aids: Assists the EMT in patient care. Trained in CPR
- Emergency Medical Technicians: Treats and transports the sick and injured. Must posses and maintain NYS EMT certificate and CPR card.
Paid Positions
Windsor Emergency Services also employs paid Drivers, EMTs, and ALS Providers for on duty shifts. Providers with credentials and privillages in SREMS are Preferred.
